Place a pan of water on the hob, add some lemon juice, bring to the boil, simmer for about half an hour, topping up the water if necessary. Bottled lemon juice can be used for this, use in the ratio of 5 parts water to 1 part of lemon juice. Leave the lid off the pan while you are doing this.

Bicarbonate of Soda will absorb smells, its used in fridges. The lemon is good too, on the cooker and in the microwave in a bowl of water. Throw any old hard lemons into the dishwasher for a freshen up and always down a waste disposal.
Other than that, wash wash and wash again. Fabrics will hold smells and no spraying of them is truly effective compared to a wash.
Paintwork and walls will all benefit from a wash down with a nice smelling detergent.
In future, try your salmon in the microwave with a lid or in foil in the oven, cuts down mess and all smells.
