Last night i went to a country club with my friend's family for karaoke. It was quite nice and everyone was fun. I am standing there minding my own business and this guy starts talking to me asking if he knows me from such and such bar. I was polite and said No. He went right in for the kill and said "You are very pretty, would you like to go out for dinner?"

Now, I do give him credit for approaching me cold like that, but he did not even try to chat me up a bit. I did find out he lives about 45 min from me and that includes crossing a bridge. (ugh) He was a friend of the DJ, so it was not even like we could get a little info from another club member. I have no way of bridging the gap. I wiould never meet him alone. He gave me his #. I am not inclined to call, but what do you think?????

You lovely person! Awwww. It really isn't the size of someone which matters. It's in having he confidence to be who you are, whether it's a skinny weakling like myself, or someone twice my size. I'm sure that guy was telling you the truth as well. He found you pretty - so you must be! You give him a try, and if he turns out to be rubbish - well, put it down to experience - x
