Possible Stroke?
1 Answers
My Dad has had what I think to be a stroke.
The first symptom was waking up & finding his face had 'drooped' on one side, this was then followed by severe tiredness, confusion (not even being able to turn the tv on), being un-balanced & then memory loss & a slight slurring when trying to speak.
Firstly does this sound like a stroke? (He is in hospital, but they are still carrying out tests) and secondly does anyone know how long his short term memory will be gone for?
I have been on the stroke website but would appreciate any help/advice from 'real people' Please, (rather than a factsheet) as Im so worried about him!
Thank You in advance.

I expect by now, the hospital would of been able to establish whether your dad did suffer a stroke. And the doctors would of hopefully given you all the answers to the questions you asked here.
My sister suffered a mild stroke 3 years ago, at the age of 44. So I know how worrying things are.
I hope your dad is recovering well.
