Manners v Mobile phones.
8 Answers
A woman came into the shop today where I work, she was talking on her phone whilst coming through the door, when I went up to serve her she just pointed at what she wanted whilst still yapping away. When it came for her to pay she just emptied her money out on the counter and pointed at it for me to take the correct amount. There was no eye contact and she left the shop still jabbering away on the blasted thing. What do you think about this I thought it was very bad manners.

If it is any consolation a car behind me on the motorway on Monday was a bit erratic, I noticed in my mirror. I pulled into Lane one and he shot past me. I was doing 70. It was a left hand drive BMW and he was texting on a Blackberry! Mobile communications are useful but........

I agree with Androcles and Katie, puss. That is so incredibly rude! I think I may actually have refused to serve her 'til she spoke to me! I know it isn't easy, and as a good worker you probably wanted to bite your tongue, but there is no excuse for rudeness! She wouldn't tolerate it if it was the other way round, would she?!

I think that is very rude, for goodness sake she could have asked the person to wait whilst she got served or even called them back!
I was at a meeting today and a mobile phone rang and rang and rang. I was just about to say why doesnt someone answer their phone when it stopped. I found out later that it was my phone that I had forgotten to put on silent LOL! *blush*
