i saw something really sad today....what is the happiest and saddest thing you have ever witnessed?

seeing people and animals suffer make me sad

I saw woman on a show yesterday who lost everything in a fire, her kids had lost all their clothes books, toys ect then the show surprised her with loads of new stuff and the little girl burst into tears of happiness, that made me happy!

The saddest thing I have ever witnessed is seeing my Dad cry when my Grandad died and we passed the cemetry on our way home from the funeral tea.

The happiest thing I have ever witnessed is seeing my daughter (an only child) a few days after she was born being wheeled back from Intensive Care Baby Unit. It was surreal.

thanx for your replies.....i saw a lovely alsatian dog run over,the scumbag of a driver drove off i tried to help the poor dog and took him to the rspca but he sadly died im gutted.but the happiest thing i ever saw was my son being born 21 years ago........

this is gonna be depressing

the saddest thing i saw saw was my Dads coffin going through the curtains to Glen Millers Moonlight serenade

happiest was seeing my sons born! :-) (relief more like )

Everton just getting beat on penalties, realising I probably was'nt going to die in hospital the other week. That was a lovely morning, even with my temperature over 40 and shivering with cold.
