just made a flippant remark to gravy about chinese eating dogs.
then on msn search got a link to a photo page by animal rights folk .
its a bit gruesome.
too gruesome to post.

i tell u a true life story but firstly i would like to point out its only in China that they eat Dog meat! its horrible thing but they eat anything in that country its horrible but its there culture! only a few percentage in hong kong eats dog meat (but it is suppolsly meant to b illegal until China took over--so i dunno if it stil is??)but most are normally are people from China, Im chinese myself (not from china (phew lol) , as i was born and bread in UK :) i agree with u, its gruesum!! my family r agaisnt it too!! anyway coming back to the true story.
When my dad was a kid he lived in a village in Hong Kong, his parents was from china, he had 4 brothers and one sister. they had a little farm .. a few cows and a pet dog, my dad was very close to the dog and always played with him, the dog always waited outside the house for him when he comes home from school, BUT one day my dad was a bit concerned that there was no sign of his dog when he came home from school, he looked everywhere but no sign of him, he asked everyone, come tea time, my dad asked his dad if he had seen the dog, his dad respond......hes been cooked, and he placed the dish on the table infront of him. My dad and his bro/sis did not eat anything that night, they were sooo shocked esp, my dad, he cried (bless) till this day he always talked about it and stil disbleif how his dad could cook his pet and place it on the table infront of him!! :( ... :(
