I agree with all the Blackadder ones. The poppy scene always brings a tear to my eye.

Two of the saddest moments for me was when I saw Tommy Cooper collapse on stage. The other is when the Challenger shuttle blew up just after take off.

Some of my funniest moments are from Paul Merton in Have I got news for you. Also Red Dwarf:
