There are quite a few for sale on eBay. Blocks range from only 5 units up to about 7,500. It`s best if you look out for blocks of 100 - original value was 100, but because of inflation they normally go for about half that. Try bidding around 30 and you may get lucky.
Why would anybody buy them "second hand" when they are not transferable?
And why would anybody even want to sell them at a discount, when they can just cash them in for their full face value?
why would any body want to sell there bonds at less than face value? as they only have to return the to the nsi and get all there money back
Very odd. Very odd indeed.
come on n248 you got us intreeged now
And why has the first answer here not got an AB ID shown on it?
Perhaps it is Ernie in disguise??
Having checked, there are none "for sale" on ebay.

Of course there are none for sale.

This is a WIND UP!
I imagine some Nigerian scamster will try and sell them soon for say 75 pence each.

And yes, some silly English muppet will buy them.
I just released n248 is green
