Aaaaaaarrrrrhhh , guess what I've just done , I made some pancakes and brought them through into my warm lounge room to eat . I don't know how but the plate jumped out of my hand and smashed onto the hard floor , sending the pancakes honeyside down and loads of plate bits everywhere !!!

My son is in full time school normally (very young I know, but it's a Welsh school and they start them early). So it's full on easter hols at the moment and I get same holidays, so it's crafts gallore at the moment!

My hubby has gone back to work after a few days off (lucky s*d)

I need some 'housework tantras'.... any thoughts?????

Hello lil , awww , poor lass , a poorly 2 yr old , it's rotten when your little ones are sick , I hope he get better as the day goes on , is he taking some fluids honey ?
Gosh , full time school at 4 , that does seem early , mind you , a lot of children in Australia are nearly 6 by the time they start in kindy . My son came over here aged 6 and a half , and straight into yr2 when he had just come from Australian kindy.

Ye, would have to agree with you on that, it is early, but I'm so lucky to have my Sister teaching him in his first year. They start them early so that they get immursed in the Welsh language before their learning really begins!

He's almost fluent now, fluts in and out of Welsh and English. But this time next year, he'll be fluent, bless!

Gosh , how great to be fluent in both languages , they pick it up like little sponges at that age don't they .
Well I've managed to clean up that sticky mess , I've given up on pancakes though I'll go without !

we're well and was going to go out with the school for a walk around the lake. first time out in two weeks and it gets cancelled due to the weather. (i don't mind coz not liking the rain)
so instead we're going shopping

Good idea christine , it's debatable whether I'll go out if it doesn't ease up as it's too windy for a brolly .
