with my back today, sciatic pain, radiating down my legs, across my back, up my neck and through my head, hence my skiving here at work. On crutches to walk at the moment and going to GP at 2.20 pm. Can anyone advise how to deal with this kind of pain or suggest something other than Co-Codamol 30/500 (coz it tires me) and a tens machine.

Thanks.

I had two discs removed sometime ago - I suffered for 18 months taking painkillers etc., go and see a specialist asap. I was told that if I had gone to see someone in the first 3 months I would not have had to have this operation, pay your money about 120 for consultation, and get some action .
P.S. I forgot to tell you I finished up with two sticks and bent like and old women (age 33) before op - see someone asap.
