wireless access point
6 Answers
I have a Belkin Wireless Access point F5D6130 and a Centrino laptop which connects to the internet via this method.
My PC has XP Pro and SP2, and the wireless connection is displayed as unsecure.
How do I make a security enabled connection, so that the WAP will only accept connections from my own PC and nothing else?

Look in the instruction manual for instructions. It is very easy to do, but hard to explain. You need to tell your access point to generate WEP codes (Configured by connecting to the access point through a web browser using it's ip address). Then put these codes into you pc's wireless network properties. No other machine will be able to use connection without you issuing these codes.
