I have a Renault Megane Liberte S reg which recently died whilst I was driving it. The engine turns over but will not start, the indicators and hazards do not come on, but the headlights work. The radio works but the windscreen wipers dont. Any ideas, before I spend a fortune?

check that one of the main fuses under the bonnet has not gone
