ive been on lighter life for five weeks and have lost two stone two pounds. you have to get your doctor to sign a form regarding your health before they will accept you and you have to have monthly blood pressure check ups with your doctor or practice nurse. lighter life will not accept you unless you have at least three stones to lose and guarantee you will lose three stones in 100 days if you stick to the plan. it is very expensive at 66 (yes sixty six pounds) per week but included is the two hour counselling session each week and your packs of shakes, soups and bars. each weekly group has between five and twelve members and is sealed once started so you dont get new people turning up each week like other slimming clubs which is great as you really get to know each other and support each other. having said all that i am finding to be very expensive and while i enjoy it i dont think i can carry on much longer purely because of the cost. the diet is great and i dont feel hungry and i have more energy than before but think i will have to stop soon and diet on my own but the weight loss at present has given me a great boost. hope this helps.
