pain in bum

occasionally i am kept awake with a dull pain up my
bum. it feels like pressure as though i want to pass
stools but when i visit the toilet nothing comes. this
only happens at night. have you an answer

Unusual, You ought to go to the doctor. I know worms become active at night, but it probably has something to do with pressure on your bowel or rectum when you are lying down.

It's trapped wind - no kidding. It can be painful and take a while to get rid.

Ee-yowch... I get it too as does my daughter. I went to my doc and he said it was like a cramp in yer A,H. He said they can do a surgical thingy to stretch....well I stoped listening there. It's strange that it only happens at night - I get out of bed and take a little walk round the house, by the time I get back to bed it's gone. Strange that it only happens to us girlies though.
