Leona Lewis

Am I alone? I can't stand to hear her singing or her diabolical songs. She may have a good voice, but I hate all the warbling and her dreadful americanised and unrecognoisable pronunciation. It seems that every time I turn the radio on she is getting played. Sorry, rant over now.

Leona is a cross between R&B and pop ballads and the worst in her field in my opinion. her music is produced really well and has the desired effect so ill give her that but my god she is GARBAGE!!!! She has now cracked america so she will continue to make money and music to make you cringe! Oh well... thats the music industry for you.

No your definately not alone! I cannot stand her. All that vocal acrobatics b*ll*cks drives me mental. Its not really singing when your just showing off your range doing what should be vocal warm ups in the middle of a song. When I first heard that God awful song, I honestly thought she was saying "bleeting" rather than bleeding.....goes some way towards my point of saying she sounds like a sodding sheep warbling away!
Her, Mariah Scary and Christina Agulwazzerface are too much for me. Its come to the point where their no longer singing, their just having a contest of who can hit the highest note in the most complicated fashion. Its getting old, fast!!!

Thanks for all your replies.
Theelziebub, that is exactly what I think. Keep keep bleeting, ha ha!! That's her to a T
I will just have to continue to turn off the radio when I hear her.
As I said, I think she probably has an OK voice - with the right songs, the lack of warbling and the ability to actually pronounce words properly then I just might like her!! (but probably not.
Give me Katy Tunstall any time!

Oh glad I'm not the only one who switches off when she comes on...way too Mariah/Whitney-esque.
I thought she was singinging about 'camille me' on her 'bleedin' song when she was saying 'you cut me open'...haha
erm, when did you you become a brummie LL?
unrecognoisable? or was it a pun?
haha, sorry couldn't resist....

She makes me feel rather depressed! She has the same effect on me that Mariah Carey has... don't like all the warbling!
She also talks as if she is afraid to say boo to a goose, all that softly whispery speaking. sounds like she has a huge PR machine up her bum and repeats a very PC sentence like a parrot!
Wish her luck though.... I might be jealous coz I can't sing for toffee! x
