Plasma tv
8 Answers
We recently bought a Panasonic plasma tv and it's got what I have been told is ghosting on the screen (as though another program is on in the background) could anyone tell me what causes this, could it be our scart leads or do you think I should contact the suppier (Virgin)
Sorry if I'm in the wrong place but didn't know where else to go. TIA

If you have a normal TV aerial cable plugged in and you're receiving a TV signal through a cable or sky box try unplugging that as well.
Test everything like that individually and if you can test them on another TV as well. That will rule out or confirm a problem with a single piece of equipment or the TV. If it's the TV, then take it back to where you got it from, or at least ring/visit them first to save unplugging it and carting it back there unnecessarily.

If you have a lot of cables lying side by side behind the TV (if you have Sky, DVD, VHS, etc etc) then you can get interference from one cable to the other.
I had a similar problem as yours but I had very cheap (like 2.99) scart leads.
So I went out and bought some better leads from Argos (about 15 I think) and I have not had a problem since.
