Ed, I asked a Q in People and Places about why people decorate Crimbo trees with baubles and tinsel and why we use fir trees at Xmas.  I think it's a legit Q.  It wasn't in the slightest bit chatty, but it still got removed and I haven't had an email to tell me why.
