Natalie, John Sargeant is a pug-ugly former news reporter who's actually quite funny (not to be confused with Andrew Marr, who is a pug-ugly current news reporter who just thinks he's funny). As for the John Sargeant-Jo Brand being related thing, I can't remember ever seeing them in the same room together. That's all I'm saying...:O)

I saw John Sargeant on Question Time last week I think, and I sat thinking how much he does look like Jo Brand...had just never actually thought about it before.  An uncanny likeness!
