Hi everyone, does anyone know what the name of the book regarding Lewis Carroll and his courtship with his wife is called. I believe it was also made into a film. Many thanks if you can help.

It was originally very much a marriage of convenience in name only to allow her to stay in this country, and then I believe he fell in love with her. Won't ruin the ending if you don't know it, but have a box of tissues handy! The film starred Joss Ackland and was very moving. Both it and, I believe, the book, are called SHADOWLANDS.
About ten years ago there was a bit about Lewis Carroll and a ( grown up ) girl called Ina. Possibly she was a member of the extended Liddell family.
I thought it was hyped up and a reflection with the 1990s obsession with s8x. I didnt think either Carroll or Ina were really putting their back into the relationship
