Ants

Anyone else been bothered by them? I have just found 6 of them in my kitchen. Hate the things!!

yes I have ants, not an infestation just the odd few popping up in strange places (the upstairs bathroom?! and the computer table brrrr!!!)

Hello I Love Snow, we had ants last summer, ALL summer, and this year I spotted them a few weeks ago.
It starts with just a couple, and you think, "well that's bearable", but then it's like there's a party in your cupboards and they're all invited! So I put poison down, I am afraid.
I don't much like to, but I would be like "whack-an-ant" if I had to stand in the kitchen all day in boots and stomp on every ant crossing the threshold.
They are creepy when little platoons of them are marching through your kitchen. And they can MOVE!

Ahhhh! I keep finding them. When i seem to kill one another 2 appear. The back door looks like i've had a fight with a tube of talc.

My mam used to put salt down with the ant powder, it worked a treat.

Thanks lisa, will put the salt down as well as the powder. Its driving me daft.
