where can i get a free internet security package..

my laptop came with a free mcafee trial but it expires soon...

is there still a version of avg for free? and does it come with a whole internet secure thing?

You need one anti-virus, one firewall and whatever of the others you want.

Certainly, you should not run more than one AV and one firewall at the same time. If you do neither may work properly.

Personally, I would opt for Avast at the moment, as grisoft will soon be replacing AVG 7.5 with AVG 8, and the jury is still out on that, especially as AVG Anti-spyware is now included and Grisoft ruined that when they took it over from Ewido.
