I was taking Cerasette Mini Pill, (which is the very close to the injection pill). After I took my last one, the GP told me that it could take 6 - 12 months to get pregnant as it has a slow reliese and will take time to fully come out of my system!
It took about 5/6 months for me to become pregnant after this, compared with the 'first time trying' with my first!
I would say that it might be similar for you!

Ahhh I know, condoms are the best best for now I would say, but if you're anything like me, there are times you just say 'What the hell!!!
Mind you, if you concieve in the summer, you wont have to carry baby through the following summer and will have a spring baby! I'm due in 3 weeks and can't think of anything worse than being due in the middle of summer! ;0)

i carried both my boys through the winter. i would like to concieve in nov'dec time as my mom has 4 months off work from july-oct next year so she will be around to help with the boys while i am in hospital which means daddy can spend time at the hospital too, knowing that the others are happy with nanny.
i used condoms before but not very well, which is how my first son came along. i havew thought about just stopping the injection now and just let it happen when it happens but there are alot of stuff we need to sort first ie a bigger car, so we will not be ready for a baby if i caught straight after missing the injection in may.
my son is 3 in 2 weeks so i carried the same time of year as you, are you all ready for the new arrival now. is it your first?

No my second, I have a 4 yr old boy who is 100mph most of the time. I'm having a girl this time, so fingers crossed for a sweet little angel! (I doubt it very much!!!)
Ye I can see why you want to time it better! We planned my second as we had things to sort out also. My hubby was coming out of Army and needed to get job, I also needed to jet my job in order and get a bigger car etc....
It was hard work before we even started! Never mind, it's be all worth it! ;0)
