How well do you know your Neighbours?
67 Answers
Over the years I have lived in different parts of the UK, beginning with Manchester when I was a kid.
Since then I have lived in Cornwall, London, Banbury, Dover, and where I am now in Newmarket.
I don't think any of the neighbours who I lived next door to, I would class as a friend, in fact most of them have been a pain in the bum.
What are your neighbours like?

I can't be doing with the argument that our taxes are paying for idle folk to live the good life, because only a small proportion of an individual's tax goes on this. I personally get more cross about other things which our taxes are spent on. The unemployed people I know, live very frugally. It's impossible to live well solely on income support, so either these people are up to their ears in debt, or they get their luxuries by working on the side - or other means.
I've lived in York for 18mths and I know my neighbours either side of me as I live in a terrace. Sometimes I don't see them for ages though or then I see them a lot and we have a chat. The house on my right side has just been put up for sale so I will get new neighbours soon. I have also started to get to know more people in the street near me as my daughter as a new boyfriend who is very popular round here which is great for her too x
