if i were to go on an all-inclusive holiday to tunisia, how much spending money would i need? are souveniers, excursions, etc expensive over there? any insight greatly appreciated
Souveniers are very cheap. Excursions would probably be pretty pricey. British pricey. But you c ould get on a train or local bus to go places which would be very cheap. Main excursions from memory are the bedoiun party and Star Wars trip.
Yes, souveniers cheap, excursions at UK prices. It may have been specially built for tourists but things are still cheaper than UK. If oyu walk down the beach to Sousse, you can probably pick up a better bargain. Everything is more pricey intourist areas, but still cheaper than here if you see what I mean.
We were there for two weeks in february and came home with money. We had half board so just buying lunch and snacks. we took taxis everywhere and didn't stint and for three of us spent less than 400. this included funfair rides for the 7 year old, souvenirs, drinks and tipping the staff.
I went there a few years ago and found it rather annoying each time I walked down the street I got beeped at by dirty perverts in their cars and on bikes, and I was walking with my husband. I wasn't underdressed either.
Yes but the question was about costs not culture difference. Costs are minimal. All inclusive you will not need to buy coke, unless you are out and about and that is cheaper than uk. Just take half of what you would expect to pay in the UK and you will return with change.
Thanks to everyone who gave me their input. Ive just come back from my week in Tunisia and found it to be wonderful. We were staying in an all inclusive hotel, so our spends were souveniers etc and i can say it was very reasonably priced. Yes the people hassle you in places like Sousse, a favourite is "im the waiter from your hotel" - but learn to deal with them, and it becomes part of the experience!! wonderful time was had by all thank you!
