yes just wanted to maon about them. They are right though that they are better off on benefits but that daughter that said she hadnt let her family down by going to prison. And said she couldnt get a job, she apllied for 13 but no-one had given her one. I'm not suprised.

It was the dad I felt sorry for. The mum looked to be a lazy moo and don't get me started on the daughter! With a face and an attitude like that, no wonder no one has given her a job! x

My immediate thought was, why are they moaning about not being able to get jobs cos it's difficult scheduling with the kids etc? They had 7 kids without a thought to how they would be able to pay for their upbringing. Oh hang on, that's right - they thought, "f*ck it, the state will pay for us to keep popping out sprogs with wild abandon". Maybe they were hoping they could get jobs AND keep all their benefits. And get completely free childcare provision, and perhaps not pay tax on their wages either.

And the daughter applied for 15 jobs and already it sounds like she's given up. Some highly qualified people out there have applied for a hell of a lot more jobs than that and been rejected but keep trying.

Exactly and you know what, I bet that girl went for jobs that she liked not jobs that she will only get with a criminal record, beggers cant be choosers

They said the hubby had been on benefits for 15 years as he looks after his wife who is also on benefits as she has a bad back. The problem as I see it is, if she stayed off her back once in a while she might not have ended up with 7 kids! - did it not occur to anyone that if the daughter can't get a job because of her criminal record, why doesn't she look after the mum and let the dad go out to work. My son applied for a lot more than 15 jobs when he was looking - he was also given wrong advice re job seeker allowance and ended up missing out on five weeks payment because of it. These people know how to work the system and it annoys the hell out me when people like my family pay out tax etc never claim any benefits (apart from child allowance) and then get turned away on the one occasion when we have needed to claim and yet they all get benefits at the drop of a hat.

well just because you seen one family on benefits doesn't reflect on the who situation of the lower falinge estate. as i live on this estate and know everything about everything let me tell you a few facts. as i've lived here for 20 years.

The area is full of immigrants who get full housing benefit they get furnished accommodation. clothing grants. mobiles phones to talk to family abroad. food vouchers free tv n satalite systems. free tv lisences. free cloths vouchers. free everything. free vehicles to drive as they say its degrading to use public transport and mix with our society.

these consist of

iraqi's
kurds
somalians
portuguese
polish
dutch.

these estate is run by them and this is a fact and its been the fact for over 3 to 5 years since they were all shipped on this estate. they even got there properties decorated and furnished free. so do not be fooled that its all the white english ppl on this estate because its not true. i can honestly say the estate is overrun with immigrants and illegal immigrants.

also not a ten minute walk away from this estate is another estate just as bad if not worse called freehold which is also overun with immigrants. this nobody will have the balls to talk about trust me its all the immigrants thats making our estate bad asif we are all scroungers.

realtreat I can see how you are annoyed by that we have lots of polish where I live that take jobs and houses etc, and of course every story is different, they showed the parent who looked after a disabled child, but that girl was in school uniform so did get me thinking that that woman could work while she was at school. Jules you cracked me up with the woman on her back :-) It just annoys me that I earned money to get a good place to live and now I;m at an age where I would love children I cant afford too because I have a mortgage. Maybe I should have just got a council house and had loads when I was 16.
