What are you all going to be doing later on? I'm going to find a market and see if they've got any cheap summer shorts for the children. Then we're having a barbie if this hot weather keeps up.

hi ice

A lie in (hopefully) if weather still nice, then maybe a trip to beach.

Dont have a bbq, may get a throwaway one, but as i tend to get a bit frazzled by doing bbqs, I may give that one a miss :-)
My parents are doing a small barbie 2mo so I'm going there. I would do it in my garden but the weeds have got out of control and I do any gardening cos of my pathetic fear of wormies.

Easy way to do one hun - cook most of the meats in the oven, and then just l;et them brown on the barbie when it's turned to white ash. that way, you don't get burnt chicken pieces that're still uncooked in the middle!
Lucky you, being near to a beach!! xx
most of us are veggies , so its more hassle than enjoyment juggling around what goes on barbie first lol

yes I am very lucky, have loads of lovely beaches nearby
Ooops! That was mean't to say "don't do any gardening". Lol
I have a day at home and so i am going to plant some plants and mow my lawns!!!
Wake up hopefully about 10am, head over to the high st to find some paper/card to make inlays for the mix CD that I'm putting together for a girl at work. Spend an hour or so putting together the perfect playlist, then drive over to a mate's house for a barbecue with his girlfriend. Head over to the park to kick a football and throw a frisbee about, then head back home for some quality TV and bed. Great Sunday :)

Sounds good Supernick.

Dot's reply made me think, as well. Today, a friend of ours was saying how she wants to pave and gravel her rather extensive front garden. It'll look bland without flowers and shrubs - not to mention some trees that'd have to be taken out. What a shame! I like to see gardens as gardens, with wildlife and - yes, insects, even though I don't like them. i think a little bit of work makes it all worthwhile.

Hello Ice, I most definitely owe you an email and apologise for my lax approach to keeping in touch recently! I will get on to it in the next couple of weeks, I hope! How are you?

Hope you have cooled down a bit-you are right, it IS muggy, and almost unbearabla. Especially when you aren't able to just relax and enjoy it!
Today feels like walking through warm treacle!

I am studying, all day, and then all nigh as well, probably. I am exhusted with it all, but after this, ther eis onyl one more thing I need to do and then I am finished. The end!

Enjoy your Sunday x
