hi me again, we have been movin our deck in our garden and my step-dad spotted a newt under some slabs that have been there like 4 years also i rescued two frogs and one has come back a lot bigger is it ok that a put the newt in water and moved it from under the slabs?

So long as you put it in a pond and not in a bucket, then I think it's OK!!

an updat the newt is healthy and after searching for anything harmful in the pond found three more so we have 4 newts and 2 of them have lumbs under their tails and they are smaller then the other 2 does that mean that they are boys and girls or is it just odd?
Seems like you could have both sexes here. A bit late for them to breed this year, but maybe next? They will come out of the pond later in the summer & spend a lot of time on dry land. If you haven't already, then get some Canadian pond weed (elodea crispa) - it's got little curly leaves & is ideal for newts to lay their eggs (they lay them individually, wrapped round by a leaf.).

thank you i will get some we have another kind of plant i don't know what it is called but it has tiny kind of dot leaves i will go out and buy some tomorrow thank you

just letting you kno i dont have a life so i sat outside and looked at where the newts came from and when they took a breath from 6:40 - 7:16 i spotted 14 times they came up i was soooooo bored lol just letting you know and do you know where you can buy the canadian pondweed i have looked all over the internet thanx.
