My Ex husband was an abusive husband and father to our sons. He has harrassed me and my sons for the past 7 yrs. We moved once and unfortunately he found out from a friend who worked in a school where our sons new school was and found us! My sons have settled in their new school. AT 14 & 12 I dont particularly want to move again but I feel the constant harrassment is getting us down. The police have taken statements as of when he's turned up in a drunken rage but because he is not registered living anywhere they cannot find him there for cannot arrest him. I have to literally wait like a sitting duck and wait for him to turn up again and keep him at the house as long as I can which could mean putting myself at risk while the police turn up. I have contacted solicitors and they tell me I cannot get an injunction against him as he hasnt attacked me???? Is this true???

I hope you've reported the idiot who gave him your address.

If he's that keen on giving addresses away, tell the police to ask him for your exes whereabouts.

In the meantime, get a bottle of pepper spray.

You an apply for a non-molestation order, under the Family Law Act 1996.
A non-molestation order is a court order to prevent a woman�s partner from assaulting, pestering, molesting or threatening her or her children. It can also have very specific instructions in it to suit her particular case; for example, it could order her ex-partner to stop telephoning her or pestering her at work. She can apply for a non-molestation order against someone if she is associated with them. For the purposes of the Act, you would be considered an associated person as you were married to her ex husband and you have children together.
A non-molestation order is granted for six months or for an indefinite period. If your ex husband breaches the terms of the non molestation order, it would be an arrestable offence.
