It looks pretty quiet on here tonight apart from Chatterbank so I think I'll post my question/survey here.

I am having some people over on Friday night for a bonfire and plan to make a couple of soups for folks to warm themselves around the fire.
My question is . . . if you had to choose your 2 favourite soups, what would they be?

Went out for a little pub crawl today, bit sad really, there's hardly anyone in the pubs anymore. I think most people must just drink at home now. Anyway, I had a loooooooong sleep, now I'm wide awake! xx

I went to a pub a couple of weeks ago after over a year of not going. I hate pubs now. I used to go every Firday night when I was in my 20's and early 30's. I also used to smoke like a chimney back then but I gave up last Sept/Oct. I don't even drink alcohol these days either.
