This is going to sound like an obviously stupid question but here goes anyway. I usually recieve my working child tax credit on a Monday ( due today) but It is not showing up on my balance. Now I am aware that it's a Bank Holiday but I thought these types of payment were automated and still went through. Can anyone enlighten me please, has anyone elses not gone through?
many thanks

Nothing will have gone in today and nothing will have gone out. I bet it'll b ethere tomorrow. Any bills that normally go out on the Monday will go out a day later.
Benefits that are usually paid on a bank holiday will go into the bank on the last business day before the bank holiday (usually).
It should have been paid last Friday. If it hasn't it will either show up tomorrow or not at all - in which case you need to chase it.
