Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet.

He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath...

This made him a super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

I thought it was funny anyway and I am off to Scotland for the weekend so don't care.

Beware you bonnie scotch people!!!!!

Sadly I suffer terrible jet lag and being I will be in far off foreign land, I shall be having an early night.

But where can I get a REALLY MEATY Angus or Aberdeen steak from (not a chain restaurant, but authentic scotch steak)
O Wardy my son lives in Edinburgh -he used to be in Rutland St next to the Cale hotel but he is farther out now -You are bound to get a good restaurant up Frederick St or one of the streets off Princes St leading to George St -we went to an excellant Tapos restaurant there when my son -bless him -treated me to a night in The Cale for no reason other than I suppose he loved me -it was wonderful -might not be your scene tho.Just ask -and you will find -anyway cheerio have a brill time cos ive got Doc to play with now lol !! I have packed my Eskimo jacket and full ski wear because I have heard that although it may be sunny today, it may be artic tomorrow.

It is near the North Pole after all.

And would a scotch man been offended if Iasked for Haggis with mash and vegetables? And not tatties and neeps. I am afraid I can not bring myself to say such silly words in public.

We arent offended as we have such a diverse culture here that Tescos have a full aisle full of just bleeding Polish stuff (no not for for polishing- for migrant w**kers) -*false smile*

So ergo you will be refreshing up here in Eastern European Scotland !
