You could think about buying a car radio with a usb port. Here is an example - I don't know if this one is good,. bad or indifferent:

The Belkin Tunebase FM is an excellent transmitter, though - which have you been using?

Thanks. I havent been using any FM transmitters, but my friend has...unsure which kind. If you know of a good Fm trans. let me know
I'll do you a deal Calvin-klein..

I'll swap you my Nissan Primera complete with a stereo that has an AUX input for your 350Z then you will be able to play your Ipod through the stereo no problems..

Sounds good to me:)

if you don't like that idea you could try going to http://www.amazon.co.uk and doing a search on FM modulators and checking the customer reviews to see what everone else says about each one
The Belkin TuneBase is supposed to be very good - there are plenty on eBay
I did spot you'd kinda already answered that one ;-)
It's getting late, Chuck, and I'm showing my age and repeating myself.

Wasn't a dig at you Ethel in any way, more at people for not reading the previous replies.

How does your car just play it through the speakers, chuckfickens...I'm kinda dumb about this kinda stuff...
I have a car stereo with an auxiliary input on it, this is just a small connector on the front that looks like a headphine socket but is an input that the correct lead lets you plug the MP3 player directly into the stereo.

if you have the 350z stereo with a Satellite button on it you do already have an auxiliary input and can use that

if you have one that has a cassette deck as well as CD you can also use a cassette adapter to connect you MP3 player into the stereo. such as the one in the link below, they are available at my local tescos for about 5 in the electrical department
