I read the book a long time ago, and had a copy in the house which I gave away just a few years ago.
I though it was a sad and brilliant book.
I have visited Tressells grave, in Walton cemetry, just opposite Walton prison. The gravestone has his picture on it.

I remember you telling me that Wiz. After I finished work in February, I was offered a job contracting in Walton nick, fitting new steel framed windows to the cells. I got my security clearance, but I haven't felt able to take up the offer yet. Don't know if i rally fancy it.
