add on

Does anybody know what an add on is??

i just received this msg.....

internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add on and needs to close. the following add on was running when this problem occured.

FILE:flash 9d.ocx
NAME: adobe systems incorporated
DESCRIPTION:Adobe flash player

then had the option

ADVANCE CONTINUE

......................also as i was writing this down another box appeared saying instruction at 0x300a(more letters+numbers)referenced memory at 0x07f6(more letter+numbers). the memory could not be read....

Click O.K to terminate the programme

...........i have not clicked on either of the two things that have popped up yet. Does anybody know what these are

Flash Player is what allows you too see things like youtube videos, via a plug-in (add-on) in Internet Explorer.

Simplest solution is to uninstall Adobe Flash Player through Add/Remove programs, and reinstall it.
