If it is anti virus sofware (most likely) download the free version of AVG from link below, then goto Start menu > settings > control panel, select add remove programs and find the software that is asking you to pay for it and select it then click on remove.
Once you have removed it restart computer and then install the free version of AVG you have just downloaded, restart computer again and you will have virus protection without being prompted to pay for it all the time.

Sounds like you've got spyware to me. Download the free version of Adaware, that should shift it. I think the site is http://www.lavasoft.com to get it from.
