I've never had a boyfriend before.

Everyone in my year have had a boyfriend and I have never had a boyfriend. Please do not blab on about you don't need a boyfriend but it's just... well someone asked me "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" And I said no, and well they think I'm really un-cool and a geek. I hate it,

Sorry to say what you didn't wanna hear. But why do you need a boyfriend? They're a lot of hassle when you should concentrate on school. And when you wanna go out, he'll probably wanna be with his mates.
I don't think any of my friends had boyfriends till about 16 (including myself)
And just because it looks so perfect, I doubt it is, they're probably 'together' as a fashion statement. It's not worth it. Believe me.
Wait until you find someone you actually care about and love, if they like you to, then you'll go out.
Whats the point of being with someone whos 'okay' when somewhere theres a mr perfect.
And it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. And not having a boyfriend shows that you're independant and intelligant.
One day you'll realise, and you'll think how silly this all was.

Don't worry about it so much if you let them see you as happy without a boyfriend YOU and them will realise that ou don't need one. I didn't have my first boyfriend until i was 17 (sorry i didn't mean to scare you with that) but guys won't be interested in you if your just moping around .
Sorry to be a bit harsh but just imagine those b*tc*y girls in a year with three kids hanging off them and another on the way making their ankles swell!!

You are only 14. You have plenty of time and you don't need to go along with what everyone else is doing. Just tell them to mind their own business.

you could pick up a boyfriend if you wanted one. perhaps that spotty nerd who has no friends, or that guy who you fancy but are worried what he'll say to his mates about you once you're going out..... or, you could socialise with guys who you think you could get on with. you need to be friends with guys before you start a relationship. if you really are as desperate as you sound, to fit in, you will end up doing something stupid and will make things 100 times worse for yourself. we've all been 14 at one time...

I'm 17 and I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 16. All the boys go for the same girls at school... the most popular ones because they're afraid if they like anyone whos a bit less popular they'll have the mick taken out of them plus they're all v immature anyway and who needs that? Don't worry about it at the moment you really should concentrate on your studies.. I gave up caring about it and then ended up randomly meeting someone I really liked who happened to like me back. Boys like girls with a bit of confidence so don't worry about what other people think and ignore what they say about you for not having a boyfriend its not a big deal... You will meet someone. Since my first boyfriend I became so much more confident and i've met some really nice guys I hope the same happens to you. Wait until college they're much more mature!! lol. P.s I'm sure not EVERYONE has had one. There are a lot of girls out there who havn't, you really don't need to worry.. If people are going to judge you for silly reasons they're really not worth caring about.

I'm 21 and some of my friends have never had boyfriends, if they think your un-cool they're not worth your time. I didn't have a boyfriend til I was 15 and never kissed a boy before that time and in a PSE lesson our teacher mentioned that 1 in 3 people are gay and one of my so called mates said to the whole class that I'd never kissed a boy and maybe I was a lesbian, needless to say, I didn't stay friends with her long! I know it seems a long time but as soon as you leave school to go to college, sixth form or whatever, everyone matures so much and the issue of geeks and who's been kissed no longer exists!

this cud be hard to do.. but try and break away from ur own group of freinds.. maybe if u have a friend thats in another group of people (if you understand|) and try to mingle with other guys.. being out of your 'comfort zone' of your normal friends could give u an extra bit of added confidence that you miht need to make the first step in talking to a boy?
