Wanted your views....
Good value clothing or cheap tat? Do you shop at Primark? Which stores have you used and how do you rate them in terms of size, choice etc? Thanks in advance. Charlotte x

I used to get quite a bit in there because they are just so cheap. I have never thought the quality of them was very good though but for the price you can't complain. Now, though, I tend to go for quality not quantity.

I always buy a couple of key peieces that are of good quality and keep in my wardrobe for years. I then add in the high fashion bits from places like Primark to keep uptodate!

It's a good source of 'throw away fashio' that you don't want to keep for ages!

Only thing I don't buy from there is bra's as they never fit right and don't wash well! x

It's a research piece, 4get. It's about retail, we are to pick a store and find out people's views. I have chosen Primark. Hope this makes it a bit clearer x

No, I don't. Last time I posted a q was because we were going on a shopping trip and I asked which Primarks were good in East Midlands/Anglia area. This is an entirely different question!

I dont think I have ever bought anything for myself from primark, I dont go in often but when I do everything seems to start at a size 10 and everything seems to be a shade of brown :s

yes I realised that, but just wondered why you wanted to know where. I tend just to by essential items like vest tops, sock etc that will go with other bits

I find that their boxers and socks are very good. There is a difference on stock type depending on where you go though.

Best one ive visited thus far is Hammersmith, I have visited others more locally. Problem is that Primark is getting too much like TK Max where there 1000's of people going through clothes.

oh right, completely different, i thought youd asked about any stores in the midlands and east anglia, size and what people thought. My mistake.

Ive been in a couple in east anglia, messy stores with cheap throwaway clothes, i suppose for those who want to be up to date with the weekly fashions. The only thing i bought were nightshirts to wear when heavily pregnant and to give birth in, they werent required for long

Since I work in the West End, I shop at the branch on Oxford street.

It is always packed and if I go in my lunch hour, I can guarantee you I will be late back as the queues for the checkouts are horrendous.

Other than that the homeware dept is good and I find the clothes a little cheap. I like their t shirts.

Sorry, 4get. It is because I am trying to gather info on stores peole have visited and their thoughts on those stores to find out if people travel further for a larger, better, more well laid out etc store.
