Just went for my second hep b jab and the sister this time wasn't as good as last I could feel the needle go in and eww I could feel it inside me. The one for the first jab was a lot better!! Why? Do they have different techniques? The first time I didn't feel a thing!!

Hubby gives blood, sometimes he comes home with huge bruises, I think the nurse has a wrestlinmg match with him!!!!!
Depends what mood nurse in!!!!
it is down to lots of things, but largely technique. for example: it hurts more if some of the liquid injected is on the tip of the needle, if they don't push the needle far enough in to begin with or pick a less meaty site for an IM injection than the last one. my gp practice has 2 butchers and one lady who is fabulous - needless to say, if i need injecting/blood tests she's the one i go to!
Hi SKA hun , yes it's all down to the technique , same when taking blood , some can give jabs and take blood well and some can't , I must say I have never had anyone flinch or complain at me . Some antibiotics , and iron jabs however sting due to the fluid I'm afraid.
