I do wonder about teachers sometimes. I work in a village shop which also has a post office in it, but the post office is separate, in the corner, behind a screen with all the notices and stuff about post office services. Anyway, this morning one of the classes from the local primary school all troop in, the kids line up and the teacher hands out envelopes to them to be weighed and then stamped, then starts sending the kids to my counter where there are newspapers, sandwiches etc for sale. When I mentioned that she might want the post office - in the corner- she seemed really surprised. Could she not tell that I was not the post office, and why didn't she do a 'recce' before bringing all the kids?
Honestly, the mind boggles!
