Would the doctor sign me off
For depression. im goin this afternoon and i went last week and the week before. i don't know how they see it though if your pregnant. Because you cant have anti depressants. Am i making a mistake telling the doctor if im depressed as it might affect my custody of the baby? is this true?

Speak to your GP as soon as you can. Im sure youve heard of post natal depression but there is also antenatal depression which can affect pregnant women
make an appointment and talk it through with your GP asap. Anti-depressants arent the only way to treat it.

I had antenatal depression, followed by post natal deprssion. Trouble was, I hadn't heard of antenatal depression at the time so didn't know what was wrong. I wish I had known it existed. Talk to people who will be sympathetic and remember that it will go away, even if you have to resort to antidepressants after the baby is born. Ignore anyone who tells you to pull yourself together, they don't understand! How many weeks are you?
