id guess that you'd find muslims,jews and christians amongst others in almost every country in the world! the imams all over the world use arabic

What religion are Kosovans?

We have lots of them in our local hospital occasionally; they seem to gather en masse when one of their community is sick.

Islam (mostly Sunni, with a Bektashi minority) is the predominant religion in Kosovo but hasn't saturated the Kosovar society, which remains largely secular.

About three percent of ethnic Albanians in Kosovo remain Roman Catholic despite centuries of the Ottoman rule. The Serb population, estimated at 100,000 to 120,000 persons, is largely Serbian Orthodox. Kosovo is densely covered by numerous Serb Orthodox churches and monasteries.

Where do they practice their faith? Wherever their faith takes them.

1 � I am not really sure about their religion. I know most of the Bosnians are Muslims. Then my geography is of a nursery level. I would go with what Octavius said as I know he is a very knowledgeable person.

2 � However being a Muslim myself I can answer your second question. All over the world, in any country, in any Masjid (mosque) the prayer is always in Arabic. Speech before the prayer which could be about current affairs, Islamic history or information about other issues is usually delivered in the language what most people understand. Usually a local language. Here in the UK it depends upon where the majority of the people attending the Masjid (mosque) are from.

I only see crowds of boys & men in the hospital and will ask when I get the opportunity. Their english seems limited and they shop with bags of small change which makes me think they've been begging. I must have this wrong....so am holding back questions to them till I know more.

I just like their communal concern when one of them is ill. Wish my street would turn out for me when I am ill.

Our security at the hospital claim they steal and move them on but though I work in the shop I haven't seen this.
