does anyone else feel exceptionally good when they flick the channel over, see university challenge on bbc2 and get a few answers right?!?

My husband watches this and I get loads of points...mainly by cheating :D but yeah on the rare occasion (once probably) i get a question right without cheating I show off like mad lol

I haven`t watched it for years.
But i do feel good when i answer correcly on Mastermind.

hi squarebear. I have a few ways of cheating. If the answer is say an artist, I yell out every artist I can think of and if I have said the right answer I give myself a point, also if I give an answer and the contestants give the same answer even if its wrong then I get a point, and if Im really doing crap I give myself a point if my answer has the same first letter as the proper answer ;)

lol sounds good to me. I occasionally try to lip read what the students are saying then shout that out, which looks impressive when it works.

Im not bad at lipreading cos I work in a really noisy factory where you cant hear what anyone is saying and I also lip read my friend a lot who is deaf and cant speak.

yes RAGGY I agree, mastermind isnt as good as it was and neither are the contestants

Oh no that's ok M-A-T-R-I-X , it's only because I'm a slow typer at the best of times ...lol....I'll use matrix when I'm in a hurry or in bad light then :-)

My wife and I watch regularly, and I am always secretly pleased if i get more right than she does, because she is far more academic than I am.

I always look forward to the music questions, and if JP says "You are going to hear a piece of popular music ..." I am usually in line for a few points, but on just about anything else, she beats me.

I am by no means thick, but my wife is a graduate and lovves studying, which I don't!
