Why do makeover shows reward the body abusers?

Why do they do this on 10 years younger? Surely there must be some plane Janes out there who haven't smoked over the last 40 years, stained their teeth and caused their skin to look like an elephant. Let's all abuse our bodies and get a free �50,000 makeover! If you have someone that looks pretty good for their age without any bleaching, injecting or de-blubbing, lets see how really young they can make them look, reward the well behaved for a change! i don't believe for a minute that it makes better TV, - bunkum!

It annoys me too when some old girl, wrinkled through years of smoking, get a face lift!!!

Or someone through years of overeating wants a free tummy tuck!!!

It just shows more of a dramtic make over to be honest. Like you have to admit, it was sensational yesterday!

Although it was promoting all sorts of facial surgery etc etc - hardly natural!! Anyone could look like that with �50,000 worth of work!

What gets me is when the families say "Im really proud of her" !!!!!! WHAT?! Why are you proud?!?! proud that your mum lay under a sunbed 24/7 and killed all her skin, proud that she smoked and drank fizzy drinks and rotted away all her teeth - to the extent that she had to apply for a TV show to get a skin peel, botox, face lift, dentures, etc etc etc etc - yeah, WELL DONE MUM!

I do think they need a bigger challenge. They could do somebody like me! I'm 35 and most people put me around 30. I've never smoked but I do have years of alkeeehol abuse behind me.
