Police Caution

In 1997 I was stopped for Kerb Crawling. The police pulled me over and interveiwed me in the back of a police car. I admitted what I was doing and they took my name, DOB and address down. They did not give me any paperwork and I did not sign anything. Was this a caution?

I ask as I am considering retraining as an accounts technician and I see that a CRB check is required. I have not had any other dealings with the poice and am very embarrased by this.

Any ideas?

If you had received a formal caution you would have been taken to a police station.

Tetjam,

I see you continue your constructive feedback.

Thanks
No it does not amount to a Police Caution in the circumstances you describe.
are you from ipswich
However, if you require an enhanced disclosure it will still flag up that fact that you were caught kerb crawling.

Thanks everyone.

Not from Ipswich.... bit further South!

Fortunately it is just a standard disclosure I require.
It won't matter anyway, it doesn't affect your ability to account.
