Parking Tickets again!
Just 10 mins ago, I parked in a bus stop (i know, i know!)to drop something off at a customer and came out to find two traffic wardens walking up to my car. I got in my car and then one warden started jotting down my tax disc number. I then drove off as he was taking a picture of the front of my car. No ticket was put on my car, but I'm not sure what the criteria is? What are the chances of getting a ticket??

I quickly got in my car and drove off but she had my number plate. I really thought I was gonna get a ticket through the post. She even said that it was a fixed penalty before I drove off.
It's now a month or more on and haven't had anything in the post. That was a very lucky escape.

The only picture the guy might have is me in the car from the front, indicating to drive off. How will they know it is stationary (i know it sounds silly). He will not have any other photo because I drove around him as he tried to stand in front of my car to take a picture!
Surely I can say I was unloading (which I was and have delivery note to prove it) if a ticket does come through anyway. I just thought they have to have visual evidence of a ticket on the windscreen, photo of parking bay with restrictions with my car in vision.
I have had about 5 tickets in my life but this is the first one I will be challenging if I get one that is!

I was always told that if the ticket is not fixed to your car then it is not valid and non enforceable as you have no official notification
That was for parking offenses but a picture of you in a bus stop is a different matter as a bus stop is a no parking zone anyway
If you do receive anything then I would challenge it !!!
