Where can i get a copy of a rental agreement to use for our properties? i have one i used about 2 yrs ago but im worried it may not be currently up to date now? Also where can i hold the deposit? i believe its referred to as a bond nowadays?i have done all this myself before but not recently. thank you

Bear in mind anything else they should do and abide by though eg paying council tax, not having pets (or getting written permission first), visitors, periods unoccupied (eg for insurance purposes).

Make sure you know about all the up to date regulations eg gas, electrical and fire safety.

Also check any restrictions if you have a mortgage in place eg some do not allow letting to DSS.
