Tartar sauce.

Why is it, when you are out for a meal, although there is fish on the menu, you always have to ask for tartar sauce?

The ketchup and mustard is always there but not the tartar.

i have often wondered that myself! I think it's because it's more expensive than ketchup and so they don't want to waste it!

Personally, I love the stuff and it really annoys me that I have to ask for it.
