Quizzes for charity

Has anyone else had a problem?
I sent off for the Quizzes for charity Postal and Leisure quiz and a cheque and SAE for �7 as requested on July 7th. I have emailed them but still I have heard nothing.
I wonder if they are oK or whether I've sent �7 and been had!! it seemed a lot at the time I have to say

No mention of it yet on IQAGB and I usually get an email to tell me its out so maybe your're just a bit early

The web site is Quizzes for Charity although I found it on AB. On the web site it says that it is in aid of Asthma UK and the address is 196 Telford ave

All seems above board but if not it leaves a very bad taste. If its a new type of hoax I shall be rather more careful in future!
I hope the organisers see this and reply.

Think I may have answered my question - I managed on a roudabout way to get a phone number. The organiser is emailing me so I will report back

Yes just looked and that is the one - but am still sure it isnt out yet. The sumer one has closed and new oneisnt out yet

The next QfC Postal quiz will be the Big Summer One, with all the usual brain searching questions, puzzles and pictures. The quiz should be available on August 1st and answers due back on October 1st. Cost will be �7 (of which at least �5 is a direct donation to Asthma UK). For your copy please send �7 (payable to Quizzes for Charity) to QfC, 196 Telford Avenue, Stevenage, Herts SG2 0AU. Feel free to post-date cheques to August 1st if you wish, and an SAE (at least 8�"x4") will be very helpful, however, I�m happy to send the quiz by email if you supply an email address to save postage.

This is a change of recipient due to a good friend of mine unfortunately dying from a severe asthma attack recently at the young age of 36. The Christmas Quiz will be for Macmillan Cancer Support as usual.

Sorry, I should have said that I have nothing to do with the setting or running of this quiz. The information was copied & pasted from an email I recieved with the answers & standings of the last QfC quiz..
This is an excellent quiz which I have been entering for some 5 years now. Don't worry your money is perfectly safe.
