when was the last time you felt like a fool.

I was walking down the yard this morning and fell over, for no reason?? my ankle went and as i was roiling round the yard looking like a seasoned pro footballer trying to get a penalty i looked around and nobody saw me.

i thought " thank god for that" until i tried to get up and couldn't so I had to sit on the floor until someone else came round and helped me up!!!! FFS

then he told my brother and he told my dad and blah blah blah so even my son is pointing at me and chanting "YOU FELL OVER" in a soccer AM style!!

lol that sounds funny!!

I tripped up some steps, when I got up there were some pensioners on a bench laughing at me!
Filled the car up at a packed petrol station... crossed over the raised tiled area by the pumps to go and pay... slipped... went @rse over t!t... didn't just fall over though... did a John Cleese-esque all arms and legs slow motion somersault pmsl...

I was up in a flash... don't 'think' anyone saw... apart from the passenger in my car... who was wetting themselves...
When I was pregnant I was walking in a shop when I tripped and was skidding across the floor, I fell on the floor in the end like a big fat weeball, My parents were with me and were P*ssing themselves, I felt like a mug ha ha!
I bought 2 pots of single cream cos they had no double.... :-((....thats true btw........ *the shame*

Snagged...i did try my best not to laugh.... :-))
Just remembered another 1, my car broke down once, and a man helped me to push it, he was pushing at the bonnet end and it was icey, he slipped and ended up headbutting the bonnet pmsl!
Jobes... can't believe you posted that publicly pmsl...

... and I'll let ya off about the laughing... I deserved it...

I should've sued the petrol station though eh... ...
I always feel like a right t*t when I fall over (and I find seeing other people fall over funny too I'm ashamed to admit). The last time I fell I tripped on some uneven paving and sort of staggered with the arms waving wildly trying to stop myself falling for quite a way until I finally fell. It must have looked really funny - I don't think anyone was around though unless they were sniggering in the bushes! (I would have been!)
I was walking backwards in a furniture store too busy looking at a chest of drawers and fell over a step i didnt know was there..

I staggered back quite a way but didn't quite fall, everyone stopped and looked and my daughter couldn't speak for at least half an hour for laughing ..

she told anyone and everyone over the next few days

oh the shame

lol

I fell down a big flight of stairs in the uni library while trying to carry my bag and a load of books...had to be somewhere quiet didn't it!

It hurt like hell but was so embarrassed I had to rush off.

Tried to jump over the back row of a lecture theatre once and ended up going down the back of the seat and got stuck and my friends had to help pull me out.

Had a random moment on a tube once in case I was on the wrong one (I wasn't), was stepping on and the door slammed shut on my leg then opened again and I would have slipped down the side of the train and track if not for a lovely man who grabbed my clothes and hauled me back in.

Ended up flat on my face on the floor of the tube and it was only when I later noticed peole giving me funny looks I realised I was covered in black tube grime.

I slipped over when running for a bus. an old dearie came to my aid (how stupid must that have looked?) but I just couldn't get up. I'd landed on my backside and it really hurt. I managed to get onto all fours but that was my lot. the bus was stopped next to me, the passengers were gawping, and the driver was saying, "come on, love!" but I just couldn't get up. I had to tell him to go, and I managed to stand up about 10 minutes later.

how humiliating!
Ruges - you fell over for no reason? bet you didn't see the ghost pushing you over. :-)

there's no disgrace in accidentally falling. i never laugh or find it funny when i see others fall, or hurt themselves.
hi ruge, i was at a friends house on weds night and the bloody chair collapsed when i leant back on it. I knew it wasnt a good chair, very rickety and had avoided leaning back on it all night but i just forgot after a few beers, leant back and ended up in a heap on the kitchen floor whilst he and his 9 year old son sat and absolutely p****d themselves laughing at me !

It hurt:-( i have a massive bruise on my leg.
