I have just sacked British Gas and gone over to Southern Electric They have pushed me too far this time

Tell me about it. I'm with them too. I phoned them last night and gave them an ear full actually. They told me that i should change to their 5 duel energy or something because apparently all the suppliers are upping their prices. The cost of living these days is stupid. A months wages only just covers half the Gas bill.

I switched to Scottish & Southern Electric about a year ago and will be sticking with them. My boiler servicing contract with British Gas runs out in December and I am also switching that to SSE - it's half the price!

I had a marketing call yester from British Gas, asking me if I would like to switch back to them - they must be joking!!!!!

I've been onto two comparison sites tonight, they both tell me that I should stay with British Gas and go over to their Click five dual fuel plan and then save the following, one says �268 the other �338 per year! I'm confused, I was looking to get away from British Gas and still save a few quid???????????

Apparently, every supplier's put their charges up, with more to come. I feel so sorry for old folk and those on very low incomes, since after a summer like we're having, we'll probably get a long cold winter.

I have been with S+S. for several years...checked prices on USWITCH today....everyone else is way dearer....so I will happily stay put.

I've been waiting for my gas winter bill.......not got it yet! Don't intend to remind them either but have put the money aside, in case.

How to the electric company run the gas company....confused about change?
